Our member
companies dedicate their activities to the following branches:

(especially motors and gear boxes),
- motor vehicle
repair work and
- aircrafts.
The Association of the
Austrian Vehicle Industry is governed by a board of directors: President
Komm.Rat Julian Wagner
(Chairman of the board of Rosenbauer International AG) and Vicepresident Komm.Rat
Dipl.-Ing. Rudolf Hamp (Director of Opel Wien GmbH)
and DI Gerhard Klein (Director of MAN Nutzfahrzeuge Österreich AG).
The office of the
association is directed by the general manager Mag. Walter LINSZBAUER and
his assistants manager Mag. Andreas GAGGL, Msc. and Ing. Gerhard KLAUSNER.
During the past years,
the Austrian vehicle industry has dynamically expanded its manufacturing
programme. For this reason it became necessary to update regularly the directory
of members and manufacturers, and to make it available
worldwide by means of INTERNET, in order to show the economic capacity of
our industrial branch.
