The
Association of the Austrian Vehicle Industry is a corporation under public
law and represents by law the interests of the holders of a trading licence
of the vehicle industry. In 2010, the
approximately 170 member companies of our association achieved with a total
staff of 30.000 employees a production value of about 10,7
billion euro (estimation). Due to the small domestic market, these
companies are bound to export their excellent products to all international
markets. The high quota of direct exports of more than 90 % is an ample proof
of their success. The products of this branch enjoy a high worldwide
reputation and our member companies are frequently
