Graduate of the Franciscan Business and Economics Academy (WRG/ORG) in Wels

Michaela Eder

I am currently studying business, economics and social sciences at the Vienna University of Economics and Business. I really decided to study these subjects because I enjoyed the Entrepreneur’s Skills Certificate course so much and found the subjects which we worked on for the course very interesting. In my first examination at university – Introduction to Business Management – the certificate helped me a great deal. There was almost nothing new I had to learn.
Now I am just learning how to write accounting records, prepare annual accounts, etc. Overall I can say that I was very well prepared for my studies at the WRG. Particularly in mathematics and languages I had great advantages at my school in comparison to graduates of academies of commerce (HAK), higher technical academies (HTL) or higher federal academies (HBLA). They, however, have advantages in accounting and controlling.

For me, this course is definitely the right choice and I am particularly grateful to you for having taken the time to prepare us for the Entrepreneur’s Skills Certificate, because otherwise I might never have had the idea of registering for a business and economics degree.
