EuroSkills is an occupational competition that has been held every two years since 2008 in the form of a European Championship in around 45 professions. Over the three-day competition, the focus is on the excellence of young, highly talented professionals of up to 25 years of age from around 30 countries.

Skills change lives: EuroSkills brings together young professionals, industries and educators to give young people the chance to compete with each other, gain experience and become the best in their own profession.

WorldSkills Europe is currently the holder of the European Occupational Skills Championships with 30 member countries. The main objective of WorldSkills Europe is to promote and enhance professional qualifications, with a focus on young people in Europe.

Since the first EuroSkills, the Austrian team has consistently performed commendably, as the Austrian track record impressively demonstrates.
