With a turnover of around 57 million euros (2025), Beyond Gravity Austria (formerly RUAG Space), based in Vienna, is the largest Austrian space technology company. The high-tech company equips satellites and launch vehicles worldwide with electronics, mechanics and thermal insulation. The company is the European market leader in navigation receivers, which precisely determine the position of satellites in orbit, the market leader for thermal insulation, which protects satellites from the extreme cold and heat of outer space (+/- 200° C), and for satellite thruster control mechanisms. Beyond Gravity Austria employs a total of around 250 people in Vienna and Berndorf (Lower Austria).
