Steyr Automotive is an Austrian industrial company with uniquely independent commercial vehicle expertise within Europe. At its site in Steyr, the company produces MUT-brand superstructures for waste management and street cleaning, as well as commercial vehicles and trucks on a contract manufacturing basis for international customers. Steyr Automotive also operates as an industrial contract painter and as a manufacturer of commercial vehicle components.

Through its Defence business unit, Steyr Auto-motive further provides specialized know-how in contract and component manufacturing, as well as industrial painting of plastic, metal, and carbon parts for customers in the defence sector.
