WKO is a member of the Enterprise Europe Network, an EU-cofinanced network that offers support and advice to businesses across Europe. It is specifically designed for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) but also available to all businesses and research centres. The network helps SMEs make the most of the market opportunities in the European Union.
Services offered by Enterprise Europe Network
- providing information and practical advice on European legislation:
provision of cross-border services, posting of workers,
employment rules,
product standards, CE-marking, public procurement,
- information advice on on EU-funding opportunities:
EU regional funds, pre-accession programmes in candidate countries,
SME-programmes; information on EU-tender opportunities
- helping SMEs to find suitable business partners using the EU business and technology cooperation database (profile–matching) and organizing international company missions and matchmaking events
